The Community Players, led by president David Harris, brought in Ogden High School drama coach John Lee to direct in 1972. The 2022 production is directed by Chad and Alexis Stevens.

Cast members are Anna Pound as Ida, Stephanie Hall as Miss Skillon, Josh Tuel as Reverend Toop, Alexis Stevens as Penelope Toop, Wes Anderson as Clive, Tim Pound as the intruder, Darren Jackson as the Bishop of Lax, Ken Bose as Reverend Humphrey, and John Schoening as Sgt Towers.

Performances are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, at 7 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 6, at 2 pm, at the Greene County High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets for all three performances are available now at Home State Bank, Peoples Bank, and Heartland Bank, all in Jefferson. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Student tickets at $5 each will be available at the door. Persons who want information about group ticket prices (eight or more) can contact Community Players board president Clay Ross at 515-370-0184.

The play is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
